Competition Winner: Journey To The White Mountain

Congratulations to lovely Elizabeth Dunham who has won our competition for the signed copy of Benjamin Finn’s poetic tribute to his artist father, Colin Finn. A copy of the book, Journey To The White Mountain, which has images of some of Colin’s work, as well as his son’s poetry, will be making its way to Elizabeth in London.

Herself something of an artist, Elizabeth is a regular visitor to Pembrokeshire where she enjoys walking and sea swimming. She says she is delighted and can’t wait for her prize to arrive.

Cant say I blame her. I am rather jealous, in fact.

Journey To The White Mountain was written by Benjamin Finn to honour his artist father who died in September. You can read about the book and Colin’s work in this magazine. The book will be available by the end of November 2020. You can contact us to find out more at

By the way, the answer to our competition question – What is the White Mountain also known as? – was: Carningli.

Here are some images from the book…

Kitty is an incomer, with five summers under her belt and the knowledge that even the wettest and greyest of winters have not diminished her love of Pembrokeshire. She knows she will never live long enough to be considered a local but hopes to leave some small mark through writing about this beautiful county and its people.
