Ancient Connections: A Poetic Pilgrimage Online

A six-part poetry and creative writing series celebrating our stories and connections between the beautiful, sacred landscapes of North Pembrokeshire and North Wexford takes place, FREE, via Zoom, Tuesdays 2 February to 9 March, 5-6.15 pm.

Creative writer and facilitator Kerry Steed will bring together community members from North Pembrokeshire and North Wexford in this online poetic pilgrimage.

She says: ‘I warmly invite you to join me on this writing adventure. Together, through writing routes and story sharing we will explore our connection and belonging to the landscapes that surround and inspire us. We will unlock myths and meanings past, present and future, and (re)discover the mystery and wonder in the world around us. In recent times it has been harder to freely roam and be with the landscapes we love; in this series we will connect with nature and landscape through creativity and the power of our imagination…’

This series is supported by the Ancient Connections community project fund. Ancient Connections is a three-year arts, heritage and tourism project linking North Pembrokeshire and North Wexford and celebrating the stories that connect these counties through culture and creativity.

Community members from North Pembrokeshire, North Wexford and those who have connections with these regions and who are interested are invited to attend – suitable for writing pilgrims of all abilities (18+); to book your space, email Please note that spaces are limited.
