Cold Winter… but Music to Warm the Heart

RhosyGilwen has sent the following information regarding winter closure:

“The energy cost hike will delay our 2023 opening. Our energy costs will rise by 350% from next month and in order to avoid huge losses we shall be closing for most of the winter first quarter of 2023. The good news is that we have some exciting artists already booked in from April onwards: Angela Hewitt, Llyr Williams, Lady Maisery, Benji Kirkpatrick, Clare Teal to name a few. Plus our summer opera next year will be The Magic Flute. Look out for more details in the new year.

“The last big event before closing for the winter, the Christmas Concert and Supper, is on the 17 December at  7pm.

“This promises to be a special event with the return of Islwyn Evan’s fabulous Cor Ysgol Gerdd, the much-loved tenor Robyn Lynn, and one of the new rising star sopranos from West Wales, Esyllt Thomas… plus a fabulous supper to enjoy after the gala performance and the usual carols around the piano. Make an evening to enjoy with your friends to bring in the spirit of Christmas. Click here to BOOK NOW.”
