Carew Castle and Tidal Mill

Nodyn atgoffa i archebu ymlaen llaw ar gyfer atyniadau’r Parc

Atgoffir aelodau’r cyhoedd i archebu eu tocynnau mynediad ymlaen llaw cyn ymweld â dau atyniad poblogaidd sy’n cael eu rhedeg gan Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol.

Er mwyn cadw pellter cymdeithasol ar y safle, mae Castell a Melin Heli Caeriw a Phentref Oes Haearn Castell Henllys wedi bod yn gweithredu system archebu ymlaen llaw ers yr haf diwethaf.

Dylai’r rheini sy’n dymuno ymweld archebu eu tocynnau ar-lein cyn cyrraedd y safle. Mae hyn yn berthnasol i ddeiliaid Tocyn Mynediad Blynyddol a phobl eraill sy’n gymwys i gael mynediad am ddim, fel defnyddwyr cadair olwyn a gofalwyr sy’n dod gyda nhw.

Mae Castell Caeriw yn agored i ymwelwyr sydd wedi archebu ymlaen llaw rhwng 10am a 4pm (Melin Heli – rhwng 11.30am a 5pm), a gofynnir i’r rheini sy’n dymuno ymweld â Chastell Henllys archebu un ai slot bore (rhwng 10am a 1pm) neu slot prynhawn (rhwng 2pm a 5pm) cyn ymweld â’r safle.

Dywedodd Daisy Hughes, Rheolwr Gwasanaethau Ymwelwyr yng Nghastell a Melin Heli Caeriw: “Dros y 12 mis diwethaf, rydyn ni wedi gwneud rhai newidiadau i’r safle a’n trefniadau i sicrhau ein bod ni’n eich cadw chi, ein staff a’n cymuned leol yn ddiogel.

“Mae pob rhan o’r Castell a Melin Heli ar agor, gan gynnwys yr Ardd Furiog a’r ardal chwarae. Bydd Ystafell De Nest, sydd â digon o le i eistedd yn yr awyr agored, yn gweini cinio ysgafn a chacennau cartref ynghyd â diodydd poeth ac oer drwy gydol y dydd, ac mae Siopau’r Castell a’r Felin yn dal ar agor – er bod yn rhaid gwisgo gorchudd wyneb, a dim ond taliadau cerdyn/di-gyswllt sy’n cael eu derbyn ar hyn o bryd.

“Ac eithrio Ystafell De Nest, mae’n hanfodol archebu tocynnau ymlaen llaw. Rydyn ni’n gofyn i bob ymwelydd wneud yn siŵr eu bod yn archebu eu tocynnau ymlaen llaw, er mwyn osgoi unrhyw oedi neu siom pan fyddant yn cyrraedd y safle.”

Castell Henllys Iron Age Village.

Members of the public are being reminded to pre-book their entry tickets before visiting two popular National Park Authority-run attractions.

To allow for social distancing on site, both Carew Castle and Tidal Mill and Castell Henllys Iron Age Village have been operating a pre-booking system since last summer.

Those wishing to visit should book their tickets online before arriving at the site. This applies to annual pass holders and others who qualify for free entry, such as wheelchair users and accompanying carers.

Carew Castle is open to pre-booked visitors between 10am and 4pm (Tidal Mill 11.30am – 5pm), while those wishing to visit Castell Henllys will be asked to book either a morning slot (10am-1pm) or an afternoon slot (2pm-5pm) before visiting the site.

Daisy Hughes, visitor services manager at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, said: “Over the past 12 months, we have made some changes to the site and how we operate to ensure that we keep you, our staff and our local community safe.

“All areas of the Castle and Tidal Mill are open, including the Walled Garden and play area. Nest Tearoom, which has plenty of outdoor undercover seating, will be serving light lunches and homemade cakes along with hot and cold drinks throughout the day, and the Castle and Mill Shops remain open – although face coverings must be worn and only card/contactless payments are currently being accepted.

“With the exception of Nest Tearoom, pre-booking is essential, though, and we’re asking all visitors to make sure they book their entry tickets in advance, in order to avoid any delays or disappointment when they arrive on site.”

Entry tickets for both Carew Castle and Castell Henllys can be purchased by visiting www.pembrokeshirecoast.wales/events

Events suitable for all the family will be running at both sites throughout the summer months. Visit the above website for more information and to book tickets.
