Hospitality Jobs on Offer at St Davids

As most St Davids residents will know, there has been something of a battle over the arrival of a Premier Inn in the city, but it will be opening soon.

The project has been extremely controversial, with more than 5,000 locals signing a petition against it, but the 63-bedroom hotel, which reached completion in January 2022, is asking for applications for 20 full-time jobs.

The Coast National Park, which granted planning permission for the hotel, dealt with 281 letters of objection and 78 of support before deciding to let the project begin in November 2020. The development includes 38 affordable houses and 32 other dwellings and there is hope that more businesses will be attracted to the area and that there will be a benefit to the local economy from increased tourism.

Jobs on offer include ground-floor team members, kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, night receptionists and maintenance staff.
