All Aboard for The Navy Lark

Performed live for the first time in 60 years, The Navy Lark is coming to the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven. The show stars James Hurn known for portraying such iconic characters as Tony Hancock, Sid James and Kenneth Williams from his hit one man show Hancock and Co. Also starring in the production will be Richard Usher and Mark Earby best known for The Goons Tour and The Lost Hancock Vacant Lot.
The Navy Lark on stage sees a cast of three bring to life three classic episodes from the much-loved radio series which ran from 1959 to 1977, originally featuring Leslie Phillips, Ronnie Barker, Jon Pertwee and Dennis Price. The series was broadcast every Sunday on Radio 4, with Tommy Reilly’s rendition of the Tradewind Hornpipe announcing the beginning of 30 minutes of nautical mayhem aboard HMS Troutbridge.
The show will be presented in the style of a radio performance in front of a live audience, bringing to life the classic days of radio comedy.
