Lifeline for the Homeless

The weather is getting brighter and better and we are hoping for a warm summer ahead. However, homelessness can happen to anyone at any time and to find oneself without a place to live is a shocking reality in our county. We just thought it was time to remind our readers of the excellent work of Homeless Pembrokeshire and to post this advice from the charity….
If the council has said it cannot help you, or cannot continue to help you, try to arrange and stay for a short time with friends or family that you trust. This will give you more time to look for longer-term accommodation.
Please contact Homeless Pembrokeshire if you are homeless and have no other choice than to sleep rough. We can provide an extensive Homeless Rough Sleeper Pack, food pack, supplies such as flasks, hot water bottles, blankets, personal hygiene supplies, assistance with laundry, a local map and information leaflets. We will do what we can to provide practical help. You can contact us seven days a week, including evenings, by emailing
You can Facebook message Amanda C Evans or call 07833 096872.
The charity is based at 2 High Street, Haverfordwest, and provides an outreach service covering all of Pembrokeshire; don’t delay getting in touch if you are having to sleep rough.

Kitty Parsons

Kitty has forgotten how long she has been here now but she loves Pembrokeshire for its beauty and it's people. She spends her time searching out stories for, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says " has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
