Villagers Stage Auction to Save Pub

We have carried a number of reports about The Cross Inn, a pub located in the centre of the village of Hayscastle Cross.

A group of local people have come together to save their pub with plans to develop a community hub. They say: “The community of Hayscastle has lost its shop, post office, petrol station and school over the past 50 years. We can’t let the pub close too.”

Their latest fundraising venture is an auction – details below.  Scroll down to see the poster in English.
