Local Man Plans Fundraising Swim across the Channel

Adrian Tyrrell, who lives in Fishguard, plans to swim the English Channel this August to raise money for POINT.

This young person’s charity has been providing opportunities for young people aged 11 to 25 living in North Pembrokeshire to acquire the confidence, self-esteem and skills to overcome the obstacles they may encounter on their journey from childhood to adulthood.

It offers a range of services: https://www.pointypt.org.uk/point.

Adrian will be testing the limits of his endurance by attempting to swim 21 miles in 20 hours across the Channel.

Money raised will be for POINT’s Adventure Club. The Adventure Club provides young people with access to a five-days-a-week drop-in and free activities, designed to challenge physically, mentally and socially.
