Heulwen Reynolds has reminded us about Fishguard’s upcoming Abba fiesta and her part in it.

We recently mentioned her many skills with fabrics, and she is offering some of those skills to help folks glam up for the Abba event on 5-7 July.

Her workshop takes place on 22 June at Ffwrn in Fishguard, 3-6pm.

Heulwen says: “It’s open house. We don’t know how many of you will turn up. We have been collecting all sorts of  fabric to work with, but please bring some of your own.

“Abba were at their height in the 1980s, remember, but we also had punk and the new romantics, so a mix will be great to play with. Think of glitter, think of chains, think of lace and braid, and think of turning those jeans into bell bottoms. All ideas are welcome, the wackier the better.”

Fe wnaethon ni ysgrifennau am Heulwen Reynolds yn ddiweddar ac fe wnaeth hi ein hatgoffa am Wyl Abbagwaun sydd yn dod yn fuan iawn a’i rhan hi ynddo fe.

Yde chi’n cofio am rai o’i nifer o sgiliau gyda defnyddiau? Wel mae hi’n cynnig i rannu rhai o’r sgiliau yna i helpu pobol i hudoli a sgleinio eu dillad ar gyfer y digywddiad Abba fydd yn digwydd o Orffennaf y 5ed i’r 7fed

Fe fydd y gweithdy yn digwydd  Dydd Sadwrn yr 22ain. Fe fydd yn digwydd yn Ffwrn, Abergwaun rhwng 3 a 6 y pnawn.

Mae Heulwen yn dweud, “ Mae’n dy agored. D’oes gennym ni ddim syniad faint ohonoch chi fydd yn troi lan. R’ydem ni wedi bod yn casglu bob mathau o ddefnydd i weithio gyda ond dewch a rhywbeth o’ch eiddo i weithio gyda.

“Cofiwch fod Abba ar eu hanterth yn yr 80au, ond r’oedd gennym ni Pync a’r Rhamantiaid Newydd, felly fydd hi’n sbort i chware gyda cymysgedd o wahanol steils. Meddyliwch am ddefnydd sgleiniog, meddyliwch am tsaens, meddyliwch am les a meddyliwch am droi y jeans yna mewn i ‘bell bottoms’. Mae pob syniad yn dderbyniol – s’dim ots pam mor rhyfeddol! Dewch yn llu!
