Banking is Back

Amid concerns about the absence of banks in Pembrokeshire, Barclays now has a service at County Hall, Haverfordwest, on Wednesdays,Thursdays and Fridays between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

With the closure of banks across the county, many people mourned the loss of face-to-face services.

However, Barclays says that its Haverfordwest branch had just 32 regular customers exclusively using the bank prior to its announcing closure. A spokesperson added that less than 10 per cent of transactions were taking place at the bank, compared with 90 per cent online.

How are other banking facilities faring in other parts of the county? We would love to hear from you.

At time of writing Lloyds bank is still open in Haverfordwest.
