Inspirational Pembrokeshire artist Sarah Jane Brown – whom we’ve featured before on Pembrokeshire.Online – is running two very different courses for artists this month.

The Painter’s Voice, 12-14 September, is a three-day workshop at Sarah’s beautiful studio at Brawdy Business Park for artists with some experience but in search of their own individual direction. Sarah says: “If you’re ready to stop copying and start creating from a place of personal truth, this workshop is designed for you.

“Expect a combination of thought-provoking prompts, creative exploration, and practical painting time. This is not about learning my style. It’s about helping you uncover and deepen your own.”

The course costs £450pp.

Sarah describes her four-day course InsightInspired, 26-29 September, as “like a retreat but with paint”.

Combining art-making with insight-based coaching, it promises “a joyful, enriching experience designed to help you uncover your own inner wisdom, dissolve creative or personal blocks, and reignite your sense of direction”.

Sarah says it is designed for those who may be at a turning point in their life, creatively blocked, looking to reconnect with their true self, or interested in the potential of painting as a process of personal insight.

The cost of the course is £749pp.
