Pembrokeshire Online Community Interest Company is one year old!

Directors Annual Report 2018

Our online magazine was launched on 1st January 2018 and we have posted a new blog feature every day since! Currently we have copy ready to go live for two weeks ahead and a wide selection of work in progress.

Our four themes are:-
• Community Life
• Curiosity, Imagination and Wonder – arts and culture
• Pembrokeshire at Work
• Nature and Environment

We have built up a gradually increasing following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Three articles have been included in the 2018 Pembrokeshire Tourism brochure.

A bank account has been opened with Barclays Business and a database developed to track funding applications, which will be a focus going forward to ensure the long-term sustainability of the company and to pay volunteer expenses. Business cards and ID badges were produced with support from Pembrokeshire Moments.

• Volunteering Wales – we now have opportunities advertised on this site for contributors and other roles.

• Involvement in building communities, reducing isolation and bringing different age groups together – we are seeking funding to develop a network online for Pembrokeshire’s 52 community halls.
Long-term potential aims:-
• Inclusion of video/podcast/ music

• Development of an App
