Pembrokeshire County Show Recollections.

2018’s Agricultural Society three-day celebration.

Withybush Showground was the venue for Pembrokeshire’s largest event – the annual County Show from 14-16 August. A new layout and evening opening this year marked some changes, but the traditional highlights that everyone looks forward to were all still there too. An unfortunate incident with a runaway horse marred the second day, and the weather provided plenty of challenges too.

With its mixture of agriculture, environmental organisations, third sector and charities all putting on their best displays there is so much to see and learn about. The showing and judging of livestock is the most important part for all those involved in the rural economy. Handicrafts and horticulture are also exhibited for competition and there are numerous options for shopping and tasting produce from Pembrokeshire and beyond. The show has lots for families to enjoy and a huge choice of music, food and activities to get involved in.

Here are just some of our 2018 images to remember this great county event.
