Sustainable Designs from Pembrokeshire Artist Lily Wellan

We have been following Lily Wellan since before she started her photography degree at university in Cornwall. It has been a real pleasure to catch up with her from time to time and write about her here in Pembrokeshire.Online .
Recently Lily told us about her new venture and we are keen to pass the information on to you...

“I am planning some new releases like hoodies and jumpers as well as a T-shirt dress. I’m working on new artwork print ideas too, and even thinking about giving the customers the space to be able to design their own clothing with my designs. You will be able pick and choose what you want and where.

“It’s all very exciting!
“All the clothing is 100% organic and ethical and there’s lots of information on my website about it.

“I’m creating my brand through the platform of Teemill, who create in this sustainable way and they only print to order and not in bulk. This was really important to me as there is so much waste in our world, but I wanted to share something people will cherish, and I love to see so many people already wearing my designs!
“When people are finished with their T-shirt, they can send it back to Teemill and they will recycle it and make it into another T-shirt. It’s a fully closed loop!
“The clothing and bags are super-duper soft and comfortable and there’s lots more to come.”
Lots of people entered the giveaway that we wrote about recently in the magazine. Lily was delighted that there was so much interest. Ella Hobby who is from West Wales, won the T-shirt.
