Tea with Sian – 3: Foam

My latest afternoon tea experience was at Foam in Milford Haven, situated on the marina.

We were shown to our own private glass dome by friendly, polite staff.

The view from the dome was amazing with the sun shining on the water and with a fabulous view along the haven.

Our afternoon tea arrived on a miniature picnic table which was such a brilliant idea; we had a selection of sandwiches, ham and cheese lattice, two different types of sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and quiche.

The sweet selection consisted of cinnamon swirls, chocolate brownies, carrot cake, scones with jam and cream, eclairs, macaroons and cupcakes with a good variety of fresh fruit including grapes and apricots. I really liked the fruit choice because usually you just have strawberries.

You could have any drinks you wanted, but I went with the traditional tea.

The food was lovely and the location is definitely a big selling point.

The staff came and checked on us throughout and nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
