Extra Help with Childcare

Parents and guardians are being reminded to look at what they might be entitled to in the form of tax-free childcare and other family-related benefits.

Tax-free child-care can help pay for approved childcare for under-11s, and  for disabled children up to 16, and can include nursery, childminders, breakfast and after-school clubs, holiday care and even some out-of-school activities.

Some families will be entitled to as much as £2,000 a year or £4,000 if the child is disabled.

The process can be started online at GOV.UK and could make a big difference to families who need a bit of extra help. More options for support can be found at https://www.childcare.co.uk.
