Have you had trouble finding a dentist?

I know I have, and I had entirely given up on an NHS one some time ago. I am sorry to say that things don’t look like getting better any time soon

Here at Pembrokeshire.Online we try to be positive, but news from the Welsh Government that 17% of dentists in the Hywel Dda Health Board are coming up to retirement this year has made us wince .

The British Dental Association recently conducted a survey of 250 dentists in Wales and, while a third intended to reduce their NHS work,13% were keen to close their NHS contract altogether.

The answer, surely has to be more training and more funding, so that we aren’t all forced to do a bit of DIY on our molars, but from where in such difficult times is the help to come?
