Dr Simon Hancock will give an illustrated talk about the impact of piracy around the coast of Pembrokeshire at Theatr Gwaun, Fishguard, focusing on the Tudor period.
He will also describe how Pembrokeshire men figured prominently in the early-18th-century ‘Golden Age of Piracy’, namely Howell Davies and Bartholemew Roberts, and the talk will cover the wreck of the Loch Shiel (1894).
