More Accessible Trips to Skomer and Skokholm
The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales says it has “a vision in which wildlife is abundant, resilient and secure; where opportunities for nature, both in our urban and rural environments, are optimal; where extensive, interconnected natural habitats are robust and sustainable, providing opportunities for the full range of native species.”
Did you know that the trust is also committed to making Skomer and Skokholm as inclusive and accessible as possible?
It has run two accessible boat trips this summer – which has meant that people with disabilities have been able to enjoy the islands with everyone else .
The organisers say: “Everyone on board enjoyed seeing our spectacular seabirds and seals and we hope to run more trips in the future.”
