A Place of Peace

Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest now has its very own Willow Garden – which will not only provide peace and quiet for staff, visitors and patients, but will also be a sanctuary for nature.
Funded by a Local Places For Nature grant, a Welsh Government project, the 2,500 sq metre area within the hospital grounds is intended to provide a place of respite for those who need it most.
The garden was officially opened with the planting of a hawthorn tree by Dr Neil Wooding, chair of Hywel Dda University Health Board.
