Castle in Line for More Awards
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority says Carew Castle has been shortlisted for several honours at the 2024 Croeso Awards. Organised by Visit Pembrokeshire, these awards recognise excellence across the region’s tourism and hospitality sectors, highlighting businesses and organisations that deliver exceptional experiences for visitors.
Carew Castle, operated by the National Park Authority, scooped the award for the Best Attraction for a second time in last year’s Croeso Awards, as well as winning the Sustainable Tourism Award. This year, it is a finalist in three major categories: Best Attraction, Bro a Byd (Environmental and Sustainability) and Best Event.
One of Carew Castle’s standout events, Fire! The Launch of the Giant Trebuchet, has secured a nomination for the Best Event Award.
The 2024 Croeso Awards ceremony will take place on 30 October at Pembrokeshire College.

Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro yn dathlu nifer o enwebiadau yng Ngwobrau Croeso 2024
Mae Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro yn falch o gyhoeddi bod un o’i atyniadau blaenllaw, Castell Caeriw, a’i dîm Gweithgareddau a Digwyddiadau ymroddedig wedi cyrraedd y rhestr fer ar gyfer nifer o wobrau mawreddog yng Ngwobrau Croeso 2024. Mae’r gwobrau hyn, a drefnir gan Groeso Sir Benfro, yn cydnabod rhagoriaeth ar draws sectorau twristiaeth a lletygarwch y rhanbarth, gan dynnu sylw at fusnesau a sefydliadau sy’n cynnig profiadau arbennig i ymwelwyr.
Enillodd Castell Caeriw, a reolir gan Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol, y wobr am yr Atyniad Gorau am yr eildro yng Ngwobrau Croeso y llynedd, yn ogystal ag ennill y Wobr Twristiaeth Gynaliadwy. Eleni, mae yn y rownd derfynol mewn tri phrif gategori: Yr Atyniad Gorau, Bro a Byd (Amgylcheddol a Chynaliadwyedd), a’r Digwyddiad Gorau.
Mae un o brif ddigwyddiadau Castell Caeriw, Tân! Lansio’r Fagnel Anferthol, wedi cael ei enwebu ar gyfer Gwobr y Digwyddiad Gorau.
Cynhelir seremoni Gwobrau Croeso 2024 ddydd 30 Hydref, yng Ngholeg Sir Benfro, lle cawn wybod pwy fydd yr enillwyr a lle caiff prif gyfranwyr Sir Benfro at dwristiaeth a chynaliadwyedd eu dathlu.
