Steampunk Returns to Tenby

Love a bit of steampunk, me, and though my days of dressing up are over, I was delighted to hear that the Pembrokeshire Steampunk Festival is on in Tenby for 2025 .

For those not in the know, steampunk marries Victorian/Edwardian costume with modern or futuristic technology – a delightful mix of sci-fi and elegance.

This year’s festival will take place between 28 and 30 March. Organiser Anne Draper promises pleasures including tea with the Time Traveller from HG Wells’s book, quirky costumes and many delightful surprises.

Anticipate Peacock Parades, teapot racing and tea duelling in the streets of the town and at the festival’s main venue, the De Valence Pavilion.

The Friday evening, will see a steampunk band at the Stage Door pub, and performer Madam Misfit will be at the Church House on Saturday afternoon. Films, art exhibitions and ghost walks will also be on offer.
