Grwp Resilience Events

Grwp Resilience Pembrokeshire is a grassroots organisation dedicated to fostering resilience, sustainability and social cohesion within communities. By collaborating with local citizens, Grwp Resilience actively engages in projects addressing societal and environmental challenges, empowering residents to take charge of their future through workshops, sustainable projects, and dialogue platforms.

It has these upcoming events:

It says: “Grwp Resilience has spent recent years delivering funded projects. We have benefited many community growing sites, mainly in Pembrokeshire, including starting seven of them. They are all run by their growers and community. Their future is secure, as they don’t depend on external funding to keep going, although it is handy for improvements. They are all in urban areas and used by a mix of people including many without cars, gardens, growing skills or access to fresh home-grown food. We continue to serve their needs.

“We did our bit for the local food chain, aiming to get healthy home grown food and diets to everyone. There is a long way to go on this mission. We helped three organic market gardens to get electric delivery vehicles powered by their home generated renewable power.

“Migration Conversations is a project now being developed in which Grwp is the lead in a partnership with the Welsh Council for International Affairs, the Wales sanctuary coordinator and 4theRegion. It is a Wales wide conversation to explore how we can pilot improvements. It culminates in a conference in Cardiff.

“Your ideas and involvement will be very welcome, more on this as it takes shape. A Wales network of facilitators that we initiated will keep conversations constructive and receptive to all views.”
