This is his life story, in his own words. It’s funny, sad — and gut-wrenching in places, but always readable. It’s an inspirational book too. I doubt I could have done the things he’s had to do, but he has a grim determination to keep going, buckets of self-deprecation and an eye for the absurdity of life. Not bad skills to cultivate. Very much recommend this and hope there’s more unlikely writing to come…”
