Sanna Duthie is Ambassador for Coast Charitable Trust

Sanna Duthie yn Llysgennad i Ymddiriedolaeth Elusennol Arfordir Penfro

Mae Ymddiriedolaeth Elusennol Arfordir Penfro wedi cyhoeddi mai Sanna Duthie, y rhedwr rasys eithafol, fydd ei llysgennad diweddaraf.

Mae Sanna yn rhan o’r Harrier Pro Trail Team ac mae hi eisoes wedi cael dylanwad rhyfeddol yn ystod 2025 drwy ei heriau sydd wir yn profi ei gwydnwch. Yn gynharach eleni, fe osododd Amser Cyflymaf Hysbys newydd ar gyfer Llwybr Arfordir Penfro, gan gwblhau’r 186 milltir mewn dim ond 48 awr, 23 munud a 49 eiliad. Fel rhan o hynny, cododd dros £3,000 i’r Ymddiriedolaeth, gan gefnogi prosiectau cadwraeth ac ymgysylltu hanfodol ar draws y Parc Cenedlaethol.

Yn ei rôl fel llysgennad bydd Sanna yn parhau i hyrwyddo gwaith yr Ymddiriedolaeth, sy’n ariannu prosiectau sy’n gwarchod bywyd gwyllt, yn gofalu am gynefinoedd, yn gwarchod treftadaeth, ac yn ysbrydoli pobl o bob oed i gysylltu â Pharc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro.

Sanna Duthie: “Mae cael bod yn llysgennad yn teimlo fel gwireddu breuddwyd. Mae hi’n anrhydedd cael sefyll dros achos rydw i wir yn credu ynddo: gwarchod, dathlu a rhannu’r arfordir unigryw hwn â chenedlaethau’r dyfodol. Rwy’n gobeithio bod fy nhaith yn dangos, pan fydd angerdd a phwrpas yn dod at ei gilydd, bod hyd yn oed y rhediadau hiraf yn werth pob cam.

“Mae Arfordir Penfro wedi rhoi cymaint o harddwch, heddwch a chymhelliant i mi – o glogwyni garw i gildraethau cudd – mae’n lle sy’n fy atgoffa pa mor arbennig a bregus yw llwybr ein harfordir. Dyna pam wnes i ddewis rhedeg i godi arian hollbwysig i Ymddiriedolaeth Elusennol Arfordir Penfro.”

Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust has announced ultrarunner Sanna Duthie as its newest ambassador.

Sanna, who is part of the Harrier Pro Trail Team, has already made an incredible impact in 2025 through her endurance challenges. Earlier this year, she set a new fastest known time for the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, running the entire 186 miles in just 48 hours, 23 minutes, and 49 seconds. In the process, she raised over £3,000 for the Trust, supporting vital conservation and engagement projects across the National Park.

As an ambassador, Sanna will continue to champion the work of the Trust, which funds projects that protect wildlife, care for habitats, conserve heritage, and inspire people of all ages to connect with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Sanna Duthie said: “Becoming an ambassador feels like a dream come true. It’s an honour to stand for a cause I truly believe in: protecting, celebrating and sharing this unique coastline with future generations. I hope my journey shows that when passion and purpose meet, even the longest runs are worth every step.

“The Pembrokeshire Coast has given me endless beauty, peace, and motivation — from rugged cliffs to hidden coves, it’s a place that reminds me how special and fragile our coast path is. That’s why I chose to run not just for myself, but to raise vital funds for the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust.”
