A Community Summit

An event on 19 May will celebrate Pembrokeshire and aims to create new partnerships for positive change; it is open to all.

Organiser 4theRegion says: “Everyone from young to old, long-term residents and newly arrived are invited to this event in Narberth, Local businesses, local residents, and organisations of every shape and size will have the opportunity to  discover new opportunities throughout the day.

The event is  at the Queens Hall, Narberth, from 9am to 2pm, with free refreshments provided.

4theRegion says: “We are a community interest company (which means we are not for profit), and our ‘community of interest’ is the people and small businesses of South West Wales.

“Members and partners of 4theRegion in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot are intent upon creating a happier, healthier region with a thriving economy by working together.

“You can expect a  showcase of local businesses, an open agenda with interactive discussion groups that you can lead or take part in. These sessions will focus on five key missions that are central to the future wellbeing of the county: stronger local supply chains; youth empowerment; green economy; community action; positive news and local media.

“As well as interactive discussions on these themes, you’ll hear from a range of local organisations, and gain a broader perspective on everything that’s happening across Pembrokeshire.

“It’s also your opportunity to share information from your own community, organisation or business.”
