Support for Vital Beach Cleaning
The Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust has thanked the Blakemore Foundation for funding vital litter-picking equipment, boosting efforts to protect the county’s coastline.
The new equipment will support the regular beach cleans organised by the Trust, helping participants safely and effectively remove harmful waste from our beautiful beaches.
Abi Marriot, Funding Officer for the Trust, said: “Our recent business-led beach cleans have proved popular, offering teams a refreshing break from the office, a chance to work together in a different environment, and a meaningful way to demonstrate their organisation’s commitment to sustainability. Many companies tell us that taking part strengthens team bonds while contributing to visible, positive environmental action.”

Mae Ymddiriedolaeth Elusennol Arfordir Penfro wedi diolch i Sefydliad Blakemore am eu haelioni wrth brynu offer casglu sbwriel a fydd yn rhoi hwb i’r ymdrechion i ddiogelu arfordir trawiadol y sir.
Bydd yr offer newydd yn cefnogi’r digwyddiadau tacluso traethau y mae’r ymddiriedolaeth yn eu trefnu’n rheolaidd ledled Arfordir Penfro, gan helpu’r rhai sy’n cymryd rhan i gael gwared ar sbwriel peryglus oddi ar ein traethau hardd.
Dywedodd Abi Marriot, Swyddog Cyllido’r Ymddiriedolaeth: “Mae ein digwyddiadau tacluso traethau i fusnesau wedi bod yn boblogaidd iawn yn ddiweddar. Mae’r digwyddiadau hyn yn rhoi seibiant o’r swyddfa i dimau, cyfle i gydweithio mewn amgylchedd gwahanol, ac yn ffordd ystyrlon i ddangos bod eu sefydliad wedi ymrwymo i gynaliadwyedd. Mae sawl cwmni wedi dweud wrthym ni fod cymryd rhan wedi cryfhau’r ymdeimlad o berthynas o fewn eu tîm, ac wedi rhoi cyfle iddynt gyfrannu at weithgaredd amgylcheddol gweledol a chadarnhaol.”
