Who Do You Think You Are?

We caught up with Chris Paling recently. He is our knight (you will find articles about Chris and his work elsewhere in Pembrokeshire.Online) and was involved with the joust at Carew recently, along with other events.
He says: “It’s the only place people have had a chance to see historical real jousting in the whole of Wales rather than the usual stunt shows. It’s a big deal. We hope it is possible for this to become an annual flagship event.”
We have read very positive reviews about the event. People are very excited about Chris’s work. So what else is he up to this summer?
“I have a new programme running every weekend in August. It’s called Intentions, and it’s only open to three participants on each weekend. I’ve spent a lot of time developing this programme and I’m pleased to finally be opening bookings. “
Who is it for?
“It’s for those who would value the opportunity to pause, reflect and explore what matters most.
“Over the years, one observation has stayed with me. Many people spend their lives solving problems, meeting responsibilities and responding to the demands of work, family and everyday life. What often gets neglected is the opportunity to stop and reflect. Not to become someone different. Not to optimise ourselves. Simply to understand ourselves a little better.”

So this August Chris will be facilitating Intentions as a three-day Equine Facilitated Human Development Retreat in Pembrokeshire.
“The programme is built around three questions: Who am I? How do I relate? Who do I want to be?
“Collaborating with horses in a small and supportive environment, participants will explore awareness, relationships, values and intentions through experiential activities, guided reflection and meaningful conversation.”
Do people have to have experience with horses?
“No horse experience is required. Intentions is not therapy, coaching or horse training. It is an opportunity to pause, reflect and explore what matters most.”
