New Plan to Recycle Soft Plastics

By the end of March 2027 we can expect to see a new bag for recycling being provided by Pembrokeshire county council.

A recent Cabinet meeting agreed to introduce the new bag for soft plastics. This will mean that from then on we will be able to recycle items such as carrier bags and food wrap.

The new bags will be collected alongside other bags weekly, and it is expected that this could mean a recycling of around 419 tonnes of material each year that is currently going to landfill.
