New Sign and Share Group In Narberth

Sign and Share Club is starting a new hard of hearing club in Narberth tomorrow (Tuesday 29 June) at the Queens Hall. The group will meet from 2.30pm to 4pm.  As always this is a chance to meet up with old friends, make new friends, chat and learn about listening aids and apps you can use to help you communicate. The free hearing aid repair service will also be available.

Sign and Share club was originally set up in 2013 to relieve the needs of deaf people and encourage the use of British Sign Language. It became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in February 2018.

All ages are welcome at the group meetings, whatever your type of deafness and all communication methods are supported.

The group does something different every month, including bowling, craft, bingo sessions, theatre and museums trips, family fun days, day trips, equipment hire, hearing aid repairs, home visits.

Shirley David said: “Our Sign and Share groups are supportive friendly places to meet and have fun. Everyone is welcome.”

There are established hard of hearing clubs in Pembroke and Fishguard, and Narberth will be the latest.
