Open Day at the Mosque

It’s open day at the Mosque in Milford Haven on the 10 and 11 September 2022, between 11am and 5pm.

The Islamic community is opening its centre in Charles Street, Milford Haven, and welcoming all to enjoy an exhibition of Islamic culture which will include calligraphy and food that has been prepared to share and will be free.

The centre, at what was the old Tabernacle, has been extensively renovated and offers a welcoming community space for people to meet and practise their faith.

The Islamic faith teaches that God is merciful, all-powerful and unique. Its holy book, the Quran, is considered the ultimate and unchanging word of God. The religion originated in the 7th century at Jabal al-Nour, a mountain peak near Mecca, where the prophet Muhammad is said to have received revelations. There are now about two billion Muslims around the world.

To find out more go to the Hamad Bin Khalifa Islamic Centre at 122 Charles Street, Milford Haven, SA73 2HW, on 10 or 11 September, 11am-5pm, or contact:
