Wales has been issuing an allocation of the Period Dignity Grant since 2019. Pembrokeshire has been using this funding to empower young people to choose the best way to manage their periods in a way that suits them as individuals and in providing sanitary products.

A Period Pick and Mix project has been set up to trial giving people a chance to try different products for free so they can make informed choices without incurring heavy costs. Stands have been set up with a variety of products, including reusable options as well as pads and tampons, at Greenhill School in Tenby and the Milford Youth Matters pop-up shop.
