Jeremy Miles, Minister for Education and Welsh Language, has recently announced new funding for 36 community-based organisations – the £260,000 will help them continue their work.
The organisations benefitting from the awards include Mentrau laith which provides support in Welsh for local people in their area.
Also included are Welsh-language newspapers network Paprau Bro and Bangor University which is working on the Welsh Government’s Welsh Language Technology Action Plan so that more Welsh can be used in the workplace.
