A Celebration of Spring – Online
Green Spirit is celebrating the vernal equinox online on Monday 20 March 2023 at 7pm.
It says: “This is the time of the vernal equinox if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, and it’s a true marker that spring and warmer, sunnier days have come.
“Spring is the time of year when the cycle of life, death, and rebirth is complete. As plants bloom and new life returns, the theme of resurrection is present.
“As Ostara, the spring equinox, arrives, that which has gone dormant becomes revitaliSed, alive and reborn.
“Typically, it is observed as a time to mark the coming of spring and the fertility of the land. By watching agricultural changes – such as the ground becoming warmer, and the emergence of plants from the soil – you’ll know exactly how you should welcome the season.
