Community Choir Wants New Members

Gelliswick Community Choir is looking for new members. It says: “All are welcome to join our choir and sing in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

“The choir creates opportunity to build confidence and friendship, to listen and learn from each other and support each other’s wellbeing. We have great fun learning new songs and singing in harmony under the guidance of our MD, Angharad Saunders.

‘We support the local community through events and visiting care homes. We have hosted concerts at Pill Social Centre and been well received for our carol singing at the Ty Hotel. We were also pleased to be able to sing on Milford waterfront during the carnival and for the Christmas celebrations.”

The choir meets every Monday, 7pm to 8.30pm, at Hubberston and Hakin Community Centre in the coffee bar.
