Get the Buzz about the Bees

Greenpeace is asking folks to sign up to become Bee Heroes – considering how important the little beasties are, it sounds like a great idea.
It says these stripy little superheroes are the lifeblood of our ecosystems and are responsible for pollinating one-third of the food we eat; and that for a number of years the UK has been using pesticides called neonicotinoids which are a threat to our already declining bee population.
Greenpeace has created a free and fun Bee Hero email course to help us learn about the threats to the bees and how we might protect them: https://action.greenpeace.org.uk/bee-hero-course.
By the end of the course, Greenpeace says we will be able to identify different bee species, create a bee sanctuary in our garden or on our windowsill, and be a part of the movement to get our planet buzzing again.
