Major Recognition for Charity Shop
Pembrokeshire FRAME has been shortlisted for the UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Award. Based in Haverfordwest, FRAME is a charity that provides training, meaningful occupation and employment opportunities to individuals across Pembrokeshire. By promoting re-use and recycling through its charity shops, it contributes to both the community and the environment.
“Pembrokeshire FRAME says it is “thrilled to announce that our charity shop located at Old Hakin Road, Merlin’s Bridge, Haverfordwest, has been shortlisted as one of the top six charity shops in Wales for the UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Award. This prestigious recognition is part of a nationwide search conducted by the Charity Retail Association to find the UK’s best charity shop.
“This nomination reflects the hard work, dedication and community spirit that our team, volunteers and supporters have poured into making our shop a true hub for sustainable shopping and community engagement.
“The public voting phase is now open and will run until midnight on Monday 23 September. The votes will determine the 12 regional winning shops, with the overall winner being crowned at a special event in November.”
