A drop-in session is being organised by Transition Bro Gwaun and Marc Mordey at Fishguard Town Hall. The event will take place between 4 pm and 7pm on Thursday 7 November.
The Beginning Of affordable Energy For Everyone asks the question: “Could the Fishguard and Goodwick area be powered by energy that’s clean, green and 100 per cent local by 2035?”
Transition Bro Gwaun will offer information about renewable energy and how this might save people money and make the planet happier. There will be fun activities, local food and a VR experience of what it’s like to walk inside a wind turbine.
There will also be prizes for art and writing from children on green themes; you will be able to see the artwork and to help choose a winner.
The best of the stories will be read out either by the children themselves or by an adult on their behalf.

It will also be possible to hear about TBG’s community energy plans, including a new project that will give local people the chance to have solar panels installed at no cost to themselves.

Local groups and businesses will be able to find out more about the Community Climate Fund and how it uses money made by the community wind turbine to give grants that help nature and the climate.
