Sea Trust’s Outreach to Schools

The Sea Trust, based in Goodwick, is happy to engage with Pembrokeshire schools from primary age and up, either by arranging a school visit to its Ocean Lab or for its educational outreach team to give a talk/presentation.
Writing in the Trust’s recent newsletter, marine conservation undergraduate Jack Greene says: “We are committed to educational outreach as the fundamental way to enrich and engage the next generation regarding conservation and the ethos surrounding it.
“We recently gave talks and presentations for the Pembrokeshire Springboard Project at Cwm-yr-Eglwys and Broadhaven. We also sent two members of our team to a science fair event in Pembrokeshire College, Haverfordwest, where we gave a talk to multiple primary school groups. The enthusiasm and engagement from the kids there was palpable, making outreach events like this extremely rewarding.”
