Memorial Hall Marks 75 Years

Letterston Memorial Hall has just celebrated 75 years of serving the community
Initially a prefabricated building, donated by Trecwn Armaments Depot, housed the centre on land donated by Captain Mathias who was a local landowner and veterinary surgeon.
Local people raised the funds to build a permanent hall in 1962, and that was refurbished and extended in 2000 .
Celebrating its 75 years, the hall provided afternoon tea for all over-70 local residents, with music by the Puffin Brass, historical talks (Dick Russell and Edward Perkins) and an exhibition of photographs.
