Church Bells to be Restored

A decision has been made by senior councillors to approve a £150,000 grant for the restoration of bells at St Mary’s Church in Pembroke.

Following a resolution in January, part of a levelling up project took the need for restoration of the bells into account. A dangerous support beam for the bells had influenced the decision to remove them as soon as possible. At that time no contract had been entered into on the bells themselves.
