Weatherproof Your Tourism Business

Visit Wales says: “Following strong sector engagement and a significant level of interest in our Year of Croeso Weather Proofing fund, we are launching a final, third phase to support medium-sized tourism businesses (50-250 employees). This latest round ensures that businesses across all scales of our industry have the opportunity to enhance their offering.

“Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available to support the installation of weatherproofing measures as well as equipment and facilities that offer an enhanced visitor experience in wet weather such as:

• Canopies, pergolas or covered seating

• Covered walkways or visitor shelters

• Woodchip or gravel paths

• Hard standing for car parks

• Indoor play areas

“You can submit one application per company (a maximum of two if you own more than one company or business).”

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 1 December.
