Ageing Well for the Over-Fifties

If you are over 50 and living in Pembrokeshire, you might be interested in a consultation seeking to find your views on your quality of life and what might be done to improve it.

The survey commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council will look at what support can be had from our communities, as well as statutory, voluntary and community services.

The council says it is committed to maintaining an “age-friendly community” based on ideas that have been developed by the World Health Organization in 2007 following its consultations with older people from all over the world .

This latest consultation will gather information that will inform the Pembrokeshire Age Friendly Communities Strategy and Action Plan and will involve.Hywel Dda University Health Board, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Pembrokeshire’s 50+ Forum, and the voluntary sector.
