Naturally Brilliant

Oriel y Parc, St Davids, has a beautifully presented retrospective exhibition on the work of the late naturalist Ian Bullock. It’s well worth catching before it closes at the beginning of March.

Bullock’s sketches, paintings and notebooks reflect the life of a man fortunate enough to combine his work with his passion for wildlife.

Much of his career was with the RSPB but he also spent time as a naturalist on small cruise ships.

He died in January 2025 but his remarkable enthusiasm lives on in the work he has left behind.
