Solstice Walk to Raise Funds for RNLI

The RNLI Fishguard Lifeboat is fundraising with a Summer Solstice sponsored walk.

You are invited to take part in a celebration of the longest day of the year, Sunday 21 June, with an early‑morning walk, starting from Pwllgwaelod car park, around Dinas Head. Not only will you be part of the celebration of the solstice in glorious countryside but you will also be raising funds for the local RNLI crew.

Registration is at 5.45am for a 6am start.

The organisers say you can choose between the Dinas Head Walk, which is the full circular route to Cwm yr Eglwys and back, or the Valley Walk which is a shorter, gentler option.

Sponsorship forms are available from any committee member or via the RNLI Facebook page.

On returning to Pwllgwaelod, you are further invited to enjoy a well‑earned breakfast bap. The organisers are asking for a minimum £10 sponsorship/donation for the breakfast bap.

They say “Let’s come together at sunrise, enjoy our beautiful coastline, and support the lifesaving work of RNLI Fishguard.”
