Carew Castle will hold a jousting event on Saturday and Sunday 4 and 5 July.
Knights from Griffin Historical will don their armour for the first live jousting tournament at Carew in over 500 years.
The jousters are all professionals, skilled in entertaining at these kind of events, all over UK and Europe. This summer they will bring the spectacle back to Carew where it was last seen in 1507 when Sir Rhys ap Thomas celebrated his being awarded the Order of the Garter by Henry VII.
Carew is also creating a medieval encampment with crafts, archery, training displays and hand-to-hand combat.
