Theatre Fun for the Young

Vision Arts has announced the return of its Minis Summer Youth Project. This is the fifth year of the programme for young performers.

Organisers say: “Especially designed for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, the stage is wide open for young people who love to sing, dance, perform, tell stories or simply let their imaginations run wild. It’s the ideal environment to build confidence, make friends and develop new skills through workshops led by professional arts, exploring acting, singing, dancing, storytelling and creative play.

“Family and friends will be welcome to enjoy the performance at the end of the Minis Summer Youth Project week which runs from 20 to 24 July. Sessions take place daily from 9.30am until 12.30pm, culminating in the special performance on Friday 24 July at 2.30pm, giving participants the opportunity to showcase everything they have learned.”

Vision Arts warns that places are limited and always in high demand.
