Lota Skatepark Appeal Needs You

The Lota Project in Fishguard was started in 2014 by Dani O’Connor with an aim to replace and enhance the existing play equipment in Fishguard and Goodwick parks. This community group currently consists of Rebecca LeFevre, Natalie Morgan -Davies, and Councilolr Pat Davies who are  fundraising  and applying  for grants.

At a recent  committee Zoom meeting to discuss the Lottery bid for the new skatepark it was decided that  more  evidence from local people (young and old) to support the application is needed.

The committee is asking people who support the skatepark project to write a short email highlighting why we need the skatepark and what it would bring to the town.

A spokesperson said: “As a group we are working  hard to make a park for the community and just want to secure the funding to achieve our goal.”

The group welcomes help with fundraising and general support with the project and has a Facebook page: The Lota Project

Please send emails of support for the skate park to thelotaproject@yahoo.com
