Where Dogs Aren’t Welcome

As we are now into summer… Yes, honestly, that’s what we have been told, although at time of writing, not much sun has tempted us to go far. However, it is time to watch where summer restrictions are in place regarding dog walking.
Eleven Pembrokeshire beaches have banned dogs since 1 May, and they are not allowed back until 30 September.
Total bans are in place at:
Whitesands, St Davids
North Beach,Tenby
Partial bans are in place at:
Amroth beach and promenade
Broad Haven North
Coppet Hall
Dale
Lydstep
Newgale beach and promenade
Poppit Sands
Saundersfoot beach and promenade
Tenby Castle and South Beach
There are many other lovely places of course where dogs (with responsible owners who clean up after them and keep them under control) can still enjoy time out outdoors by the sea.
